AC Milan vs Chelsea team news
AC Milan have been boosted by the return of left-back Theo Hernandez, who should start the game, but that’s where the good news ends.
A hefty injury list means the likes of Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Mike Maignan, Alessandro Florenzi, Simon Kjaer, Junior Messias and Davide Calabria are still missing. Olivier Giroud should again lead the line, supported by Chelsea target Rafael Leao.
Chelsea have no fresh injury concerns, with Wesley Fofana sidelined and N’Golo Kante still working his way back to fitness. It is unlikely that Graham Potter would rush Kante back for the trip to Milan.
Potter left Raheem Sterling, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and Ben Chilwell on the bench, with Reece James afforded a late cameo, for the 3-0 win over Wolves, so all should return to the starting line-up. Edouard Mendy was fit enough to join them so could also return to action in midweek.

AC Milan vs Chelsea prediction
Chelsea produced their best performance of the season to beat Milan 3-0 last week and followed it up with an equally dominant display against, an albeit far weaker, Wolves.
Confidence is firmly on the up for the Blues but I can’t see them having it quite their own way at San Siro, and Milan responded to the defeat with a fine 2-0 victory over Juventus.
It will be a far tighter game, likely with fewer goals, so I am predicting a 1-1 draw.
