The 2024 WASSCE is now approaching, and students can download the complete timetable for Ghana exclusively here.
According to the timetable issued by WAEC, the examination will commence on August 5, 2024, and conclude on September 20, 2024.
For the third consecutive year, the examination will be conducted solely for students in Ghana.
As per the schedule, the following practicals will begin on the first day of the exam:
– Basketry 3 (Project Work)
– Ceramics 3 (Project Work)
– Graphic Design 3 (Project Work)
– Jewellery 3 (Project Work)
– Leatherwork 3 (Project Work)
– Picture Making 3 (Project Work)
– Sculpture 3 (Project Work)
– Textiles 3 (Project Work)
These will be followed by the Foods and Nutrition 3 (Practical) Planning Session, which will be held on Monday, August 12, 2024, from 15:00 to 16:00 hrs.
WAEC has also released supplementary information for candidates, schools, and other stakeholders, as outlined below:
1. Discrepancy Between Question Paper and Timetable Duration
In cases where the duration specified on the question paper differs from that on the timetable, candidates should adhere to the duration indicated on the question paper.
2. Advance Distribution of Question Papers
-General Knowledge-In-Art Paper 3
The question paper for General Knowledge-In-Art Paper 3 will be provided to candidates two weeks prior to the examination date.
Project Work Papers
The question papers for project work in Basketry, Graphic Design, Leatherwork, Ceramics, Sculpture, Picture Making, Textiles, and Jewellery will be distributed to candidates two weeks before the exam. Schools will inform candidates of the exact delivery date.
Additional Time for Candidates with Visual or Hearing Impairments
Candidates with visual or hearing impairments will be granted one and a half times the standard examination duration.
