The Ghana Education Service (GES) has announced important details regarding inter/intra regional and district repostings for 2024. If you’re considering relocating for any of the following reasons:

4. Change of Environment: Seeking a new setting

Here’s what you need to know:

Important Dates and Deadlines

1. Issuance of Assurance Letter:
   • Start Date: May 20, 2024
   • End Date: June 19, 2024
   • Obtain your assurance letter from your preferred Region, Metro, Municipal, or District during this period.
2. Processing of Applications:
   • Commencement: July 1, 2024
   • Applications for inter/intra regional repostings will be processed at the GES Headquarters starting this date and will take effect from the beginning of the next academic year (September 2024).
3. Submission of Completed Applications:
   • Deadline: July 31, 2024
   • Forward your completed applications to the GES Headquarters through your Regional Education Directorate by this date.

Important Note: Documents received after July 31, 2024, will not be accepted. Ensure you meet all deadlines to have your application processed.
