The Ministry of Education has streamlined the process, allowing students to access their placement results easily:
- Visit the Official CSSPS Portals
Go to either cssps.gov.gh or cssps.org. - Enter Your Examination Details
Type in your 10-digit index number, followed by the year “24” to indicate completion (e.g.,123456789024). - Submit and View Results
Click the “Submit” button to view your placement results.
This new measure eliminates the need for purchasing pin codes, helping students and parents alike to check placement results quickly and without additional cost.
Why Is the CSSPS Portal Free?
The MoE’s decision to make the CSSPS portal free aims to remove financial barriers and make the results-checking process as smooth and accessible as possible. This year, over 569,236 candidates from 19,505 Junior High Schools participated in the 2024 BECE, including students with disabilities who were given special test accommodations.
This development aligns with the Ministry’s continuous improvements in educational accessibility, supported by the CSSPS portal’s increased bandwidth to handle high traffic effectively. Upon arrival, they will complete registration and attend orientation, a two-week program designed to familiarize students with the academic and social aspects of their new schools before full academic activities begin.
