In the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Tony Mwaba Kazadi, the Minister of Primary, Secondary, and Technical Education (EPST), has been involved in a situation where he impregnated his Deputy Minister, Aminata Namasia. According to reports, this relationship developed over time while working together, despite both individuals being married.

A journalist named Lungila John took to Twitter to disclose the affair, highlighting the pregnancy that resulted from it. The news has sparked heavy criticism from the citizens of DRC, who accuse the officials of displaying misconduct and a lack of moral values in the country.

One Twitter user, Archy Lema, expressed her disappointment, stating that this incident reflects negatively on the country and undermines the educational system. Another citizen emphasized that politicians, particularly Tony and Aminata, should have displayed more exemplary behavior to live up to their titles of “excellencies” or “honorables.” Considering their popularity and wealth, they were expected to set a better example for the Congolese people.

It is worth noting that Aminata Namasia was appointed as the National Deputy Minister of Primary, Secondary, and Technical Education in the Democratic Republic of Congo on April 12, 2021, under the cabinet led by Jean-Michel Sama Lukonde.
