The National Association of Graduate Teachers (NABTAG) has announced key resolutions regarding the payment of NABCO arrears, following a meeting with Dr. Ibrahim Anyars, former CEO of NABCO, on October 7, 2024.

NABTAG leadership and other NABCO groups met to outline procedures for the payment process. The key resolutions include the reactivation of the NABCO portal for validation and updates, which is expected to reopen within the week or next week.

Payment Guidelines

Trainees who remained at post during the extension period will receive pending payments within the shortest period. Additionally, trainees who couldn’t upload timesheets during the extension period can do so when the portal reopens. Those without access to timesheets should contact their Line Managers or District Coordinators.

The upload of timesheets will be done in modules, with a specific timetable to be issued for easy uploads. Eligible trainees with arrears within the three-year contract will be considered for payment after validation and verification.

Important Notifications

Trainees with E-Zwich card issues will be notified via SMS to update their cards. Furthermore, eligible trainees will receive periodic SMS alerts with directives on validation and payment.

Please note that these updates are subject to change, and eligible personnel should regularly check the official NABCO and GES pages for the latest information.
