The Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) has officially approved the nomination forms for the upcoming 2025-2026 elections.
This decision was made during a meeting on Thursday, February 6, 2025, by the National GNAT Elections Committee (GNATEC).
According to Nicholas Taylor, Head of the Organization and Strategy Department, the forms are now available at all GNAT secretariats across the country. Candidates can also access the forms through the GNAT website and local, district, and regional GNAT WhatsApp platforms.
This move follows GNAT’s election guidelines, making it easier and more transparent for members who wish to run for positions in the association’s leadership.
The leadership has encouraged all potential candidates to use the approved forms and follow the election rules.
