The Ghana Education Service (GES) is seeking a highly qualified professional to fill the role of Regional Girls’ Education Officer in the Ashanti Region. This key position is designed to promote gender equity in education by enhancing the educational experiences of girls across the region.

Ideal candidates will possess a strong educational background, with a graduate degree in a relevant field, and a minimum of two years of experience in a senior leadership role within the GES. They will also demonstrate a commitment to gender equity and a passion for empowering girls through education.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and implementing Girls’ Education initiatives across the region, including training and capacity-building programs, monitoring and evaluation, and collaboration with development partners and stakeholders.

To apply, candidates must submit a comprehensive application package, including a CV, appraisal documents, and a confidential report from their supervisor or director. The deadline for applications is September 6, 2024.
