Ghana Education Service (GES) to Recruit New Teachers for Bawku and Pusiga Areas

The Ghana Education Service (GES) is set to recruit new teachers to fill numerous vacant teaching positions in the Bawku and Pusiga districts. Since 2022, close to 500 teachers have left these areas due to ongoing riots, leading to significant vacancies. GES is now hiring new teachers, specifically targeting those who reside in these regions, to address the shortage.

  • Must have completed National Service
  • Passed the Ghana Teacher Licensure Examination (GTLE)
  • Possess a university degree in education

GES has also opened the 2024 recruitment portal for the 2022 batch of college of education graduates.

  2. National Service Certificate
  3. Licensure Examination Certificate

  5. SSNIT Biometric Card
  6. Birth Certificate
  7. Bank Account Details
