The Ghana Education Service (GES), in collaboration with the National Council for Curriculum and Assessment (NaCCA), has officially finalized the subject combinations for all 705 Senior High Schools (SHS), Senior High Technical Schools (SHTS), and Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) schools across the country.

This significant milestone follows extensive consultations and revisions with Regional Education Offices and individual schools to align the educational curriculum with modern standards and guidelines. The new combinations aim to enhance students’ readiness for tertiary education and career opportunities.

According to a statement issued by the GES, the subject combinations have been thoroughly reviewed to ensure compliance with NaCCA’s latest directives. Each school has been assigned its approved subject combination, which is expected to be communicated directly to them through the respective Regional Directors of Education.

The GES has also provided links and QR codes for schools in various regions to access the finalized subject combinations. These can be found in the attached annex of the official circular.

This development is expected to streamline the delivery of the curriculum, ensuring that schools are equipped with the necessary tools to foster academic excellence, particularly in the STEM fields.

To access the subject combinations, schools in different regions can use the following links:

This initiative is part of the broader educational reforms spearheaded by the GES and NaCCA to ensure that Ghana’s education system meets the evolving needs of the global economy.
